One of the most upfront and controversial religious minds of our time, retired Episcopalian Bishop John Shelby Spong discusses his beliefs that Hell is a religious invention and that the Apostle Paul was in fact a repressed gay man. I strongly recommend checking out his book The Sins of Scripture: Exposing the Bible's Texts of Hate to Reveal the God of Love.
